Course Director: 

Thank you to Dr. Rodney Atack for his many years as our course director.  Dr. Atack's wealth of knowledge and wit will be missed.  Congratulations on a well deserved retirement! 

Taking over as our new course director will be Dr. Amy Johnson.  We are excited to have her and her deep knowledge of hearing conservation.

Dr. Johnson is a CAOHC Course Director and the owner of Listen Audiology Services, Inc. She has worked exclusively in the field of hearing loss prevention for the past 24 years.  Listen provides hearing conservation services for over 300 state and private-owned industrial companies.  Services include mobile hearing testing, industrial noise surveys, professional consulting and audiology supervision, and educational training. Dr. Johnson also serves as The Boeing Company’s Health Services Audiologist.

Dr. Johnson received her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Florida.  She is the Past President of the WA Society of Audiology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, a member of the National Hearing Conservation Association, and a certified Professional Supervisor by CAOHC.
